About

My name is Carrie Snyder and I have been a professional photographer for over 12 years. Currently I work as a Corporate Photographer / Videographer for Eide Bailly, a business and accounting firm. I am the sole photographer for 29 offices in 13 different states. For some extra fun money I freelance for all North Dakota State University athletics. I also, like many photographers, have a side business taking family photos, wedding photos, senior pictures, etc.

For about 10 years I worked at The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead as a photojournalist covering breaking news, sports, business news, feature stories, and more.

Most people assume the only thing I do is push a button and take a photo. Being a photographer is much more involved.

A good photographer knows the ins and outs of their subject, has an artistic eye, directs or observes and gets all the information they can to write the caption. It’s visual storytelling. And it’s fun.

The fields where I excel are environmental portraits, sports photography and studio illustrations. Also business video interviews, video editing and sound editing.

I’m driven, creative, have a passion for photography and like to have fun while doing so.

As I tell people “I see something, push a button and capture moments in time.” This is the best job out there.
